According to information from the Oklahoma State Crime Network, a 51-year-old Vian man was arrested on a rape warrant that was issued Thursday morning and is currently being held in Sequoyah County.

The suspect has been identified as Russell Goswick.

Information regarding the crime has not been made public. Goswick reportedly relocated from Casa Grande, Arizona, to Webber Falls, Oklahoma in 2016, and, according to the most recent available data, he may be living on 4489 County Road in Vian.

A quick search of internet resources shows no prior criminal arrests in Arizona or Oklahoma. Godswick has had minor traffic-related court proceedings, particularly in relation to unpaid toll road tolls.

Since this is a breaking story, we will offer updates if and when they become available.
