Proposed NWA True Crime Festival accepting admissions for planned 2025 event

True crime storytelling has the power to expose injustice, amplify unheard voices, and bring long-buried mysteries to light. True Crime Film Fest: Where Stories of Justice Come to Life is set to celebrate the art of investigative filmmaking, showcasing compelling true crime documentaries from talented filmmakers around the world.


The festival is now accepting submissions for its 2025 event, inviting both short and feature-length true crime documentaries that delve into real cases, expose corruption, and seek justice through powerful storytelling.


 True Crime Film Fest Submission Guidelines

  • Categories: Short Documentaries (10–40 min), Feature-Length Documentaries (41–120 min)

  • Eligibility: Films must be true crime-focused, original works, and comply with all legal requirements

  • Submission Fee: $30 per entry

  • Deadline to Submit: March 1, 2025

  • Awards: Selected films will compete for top honors, including Best True Crime Documentary and Audience Choice AwardFilmmakers can submit their documentaries via our website at TrueCrimeFestNWA.com please provide a brief synopsis, filmmaker bio, and a high-resolution film poster.

 Law Enforcement Training – Friday, March 7The festival kicks off with a specialized law enforcement training session aimed at professionals working in investigative and criminal justice fields. This training will provide cutting-edge forensic and investigative techniques to help solve cases and bring closure to victims' families.


8VIP ticket holders will have exclusive access to the Cold Case Symposium, where leading investigators, journalists, and experts will present insights into unsolved cases. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with professionals in the field, discuss case breakthroughs, and explore how storytelling can be a catalyst for justice.
