An 86-year-old Fort Smith man remains in custody at the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center after his arrest last week on charges involving the possession of child pornography.
According to information from the SCADC, Steven J. Brundage, whose last located address online was on Ironwood Lane in Fort smith, was arrested Friday and charged with one count of pandering or possessing visual or print medium depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. Brundage was booked into the Sebastian County jail complex at 3:56 p.m. on Friday. He was arrested by members of the Fort Smith Police Department after an investigation into the charges Very little information is available in this case. Brundage is being held on a no bond hold, and his first court appearance to answer to the charges will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Sebastian County Court complex.
