The Pope County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of thirty--one year-old Michael Aaronlee Hughes.
Hughes is a Level 2 Sex Offender whose last registered addresses was i n the 70 block of Levi Place in Pottsville, has failed to maintain his registration as required by Arkansas statutes and is violation of the conditions of his registry status. He was convicted for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and was sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Corrections for 54 months with 36-months suspended on a second count in June 2018.
Hughes also has a conviction for Possession of a Controlled Substance that occurred between his arrest and conviction of the former Failure to register charge. He was sentenced to an additional 54 months for that negotiated plea.
