Pope County man remains jailed after arrest last week on Sex Offender Registration violation

A Level 3 sex offender arrested in PopeCounty last week remains behind bars after an arrest for a violation of the Arkansas Sex Offender Registration Act.

According to information from the Pope County Detention Center, the Atkins Police Department arrested 54-year-old David Eldon Doser, at just before 10:00 a.m. August 8 for insufficient or incomplete information on his sex offender registry.

Dosier is listed on the Arkansas state registry as living in the 200 block of Southwest 3rd Street in Atkins.

In 2008, Dozier was convicted of two counts of Internet Stalking of a Child and given a 72-month imposed sentence that sent him to the Arkansas Department of corrections.

According to an online profile for doSier, he has lived in multiple locations over the past two decades including Atkins, Ola, Russellville, Beebe, and Mabelville in Arkansas. His online records also indicate previous addresses in both Illinois and California.

From online sources it appears the 2008 conviction for online stalking of a child is the only felony crime Dosier has been convicted of in the state of Arkansas.
