Paris woman who was implicated in 2018 death of daughter arrested AGAIN on felony charge

A Paris woman who has been sentenced to decades of years to run concurrently in the Arkansas Department of Corrections since 2018 finds herself back in jail after another arrest Saturday for Aggravated Assault.

.

Sierra Ann \Johnson, 26, with a listed address on East Main Street in Paris, was arrested early Saturday afternoon on state felony charges and released from the Sebastian County Detention Center a little less than ten hours later on a $1,500 legally sufficient bond.

According to booking information from the Sebastian County Sheriff Office Johnson faces her next date in court on February 8 at 1:30 p.m.

Johnson currently has three other cases reactivated within the Arkansas Judiciary facing revocation hearings. She also has a open case from August of last year as well for Possession with Purpose to Deliver a Controlled Substance.

Despite the extensive amount of time she has been sentenced to in the past five and a half years she has actually served scant time in either prison or jail.

Her other active cases include a five-count felony drug arrest that was adjudicated May 9, 2018 that originally resulted in two 120 month and one 72 month sentence as well as a 12 month jail time stretch in a local facility. That trip to court included three counts of Possession of Controlled Substances and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A third case that that has been reopened because of her revocation status was an arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia from January 1 2018.

In August 2023, Johnson was arrested again for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver. That case has never been adjudicated and is still on the docket.

Johnson initially came into the conscience of Today in Fort Smith readers for her arrest in January in 2018 when she was jailed in conjunction with an investigation that saw the death of her young daughter . Her then boyfriend, Tyree La'Mont Williams, was arrested and charged with murder after she left 19-month old Kylah Woodard with him while she worked.

Johnson was eventually charged with Permitting Abuse of a Minor Child.

In that case, Johnson served less than two years of a prison sentence on drug convictions and Permitting the Abuse of a minor that contributed to the death of her daughter.

Johnson received a ten-year sentence plus ten years of suspended imposition of sentence on the Permitting Child Abuse charge. She also received two six year sentences on two class D Felonies and one years for a misdemeanor violation, with all sentences set to run concurrently.

She also agreed to testify truthfully against her ex-boyfriend Williams.

Williams was later sentenced to 40 years for First Degree Murder on a plea agreement.

The child was already dead when Johnson and Williams took her unresponsive body to a local hospital in January , 2020.

Court records show left Woodard with Williams knowing that he had abused the girl in the past and sold marijuana. Woodard showed signs of previous abuse, and Johnson later admitted the child had been present when drugs deals had gone down in their residence, including an incident in which Williams had been shot in the hand during one transaction.

Johnson has had at least one other child since her release from prison in 2020.
