A 42-year-old man from Paris lost his life in a tragic car accident late Saturday evening, March 15, 2025, according to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police.

The victim, identified as Christopher Guerber, was driving southbound on State Highway 109 near Brushy Mountain Road in Logan County when the incident occurred.

The crash took place at approximately 9:06 p.m. Guerber was operating a 2023 Hyundai Elantra when the vehicle veered off the south side of the highway and collided with a tree.

The weather was clear, and the road conditions were dry at the time of the accident, ruling out adverse weather as a contributing factor.

Emergency responders transported Guerber to Mercy Hospital in Paris, where he was later pronounced deceased. His body was subsequently taken to the Logan County Coroner’s Office. Authorities have notified his next of kin, though further details about the circumstances leading to the crash remain under investigation.
