An accident that occurred January 20 on interstate 40 about three miles west of Muldrow resulted in the death of one person who has yet to be identified by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
According to information from the OHP, a pickup truck headed west on I-40 rear ended another car at the crash scene and exited the roadway to the left. The truck then stuck a cable barrier and travel down that barrier for over 350 feet before coming to rest.
At that point the truck really ignited and burn completely. The driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the same with the name of the driver has been withheld pending identification by the State medical examiner.
