The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Pocola Police Department after a fatal shooting Tuesday afternoon in the Leflore County community which lies just across the Arkansas-Oklahoma state line.
Police say they responded to the shooting at a home on Butler Avenue shortly after 2 p.m. where one person was found deceased with a gunshot wound. The scene of the shooting is near T)ri-State Speedway according to officials.
The OSBI and the Pocola Police Department did not release any other information at this time concerning the suspect.
