Oklahoma Highway Patrol: Florida man dead after DUI-related accident near Mile-Marker 317 on Interstate 40

A deadly three-vehicle collision on Interstate 40 early Sunday morning resulted in the death of a Florida man and the arrest of a Sallisaw woman on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol .


The crash occurred at approximately 1:35 a.m. on westbound I-40 near mile marker 317, just outside Muldrow.


Troopers reported that Cambre L. Wright, 20, of Sallisaw, was arrested following the incident on aggravated DUI charges. Wright was not injured.


One of the vehicles involved was driven by Linda A. Mager, 66, of Fruitland Park, Florida. Her passenger, John H. Beahn, 69, also of Fruitland Park, sustained fatal injuries despite life-saving efforts at the scene. Mager was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.


The second vehicle was operated by Natalie J. Finley, 30, of Oklahoma City. Finley was not injured in the crash.


Authorities say the cause of the collision remains under investigation as of press time.
