OHP: Wreck last week on US 59 south of Stillwell results in death of Tulsa and Stillwell residents



Two women were killed and a Sallisaw man was among the injured in an accident six-and-a-half miles miles south of Stillwell on Highway 59 Tuesday afternoon.


According to information from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2021 GMC Arcadia collided with a 2005 Dodge Ram at approximately 2:48 p.m.


The Arcadia was driven by 20-year-old Dustin Brown of Stigler and two passengers in his vehicle, 19-year-old Angel Vann of Tulsa and 32-year-old Jolene Brown of Stillwell, were pronounced dead at the scene.


Seventeen-year-old Jimmy Branham of Sallisaw was the driver of the Dodge Ram and was treated and released for head injuries at a Stillwell hospital


A third passenger in the Arcadia, Hayden Randell, 21, was life-flighted to Saint Francis Hospital in in critical condition with various external injuries.


The cause of the wreck was still under investigation according to the OHP.
