OHP identifies man killed earlier in the week in McCurtain County accident
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified a man killed in a McCurtain county County rollover crash earlier in the week.
Troopers say Roberto Salas-Gabriel, 20, was heading south in a 2001 Chevy Silverado about 10 miles south of Smithville on U.S. Highway 259. Just after midnight Sunday the truck crossed the centerline, left the highway and rolled over.
The crash report says Salas-Gabriel was thrown 47 feet and was not wearing a seatbelt.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Identification of the victim was delayed pending notification of next of kin.
