Local law enforcement officials are searching for a registered sex offender out of Crawford County who has failed to maintain his registration status and is also being sought by a local bail bond company.
Fifty-two-year-old Ricardo Antonio jones, whose last registered address was in Alma, is being sought after officials could not locate him at his listed address during their last visitation check.
Jones is wanted for failing to register for sex crimes committed in 2003 and 2004. He was convicted in Orange, Florida for lewd, lascivious behavior with a child under 16 and for lewd or lascivious battery on a victim between ages of 12 and 15 years old. Those crimes were separate convictions.
According to information on the National Sex Offender registry Jones owns two vehicles a 2005 white Jeep utility vehicle and a four-door aluminum/silver 1986 Nissan.
