Motorcycle accident in Carroll County claims life of 42-year-old Blue Eye, Missouri woman



Law enforcement officials in Northwest Arkansas say a 42-year-old Missouri woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a motorcycle wreck that occurred within the city limits of Eureka Springs. 


According to information from a report filed by the Arkansas State Police, Nicole M. Decker, from Blue Eye, Missouri was killed near State Highway 23 at the intersection of Country Road 266 at 403 p.m. Thursday.


The report says that Decker was southbound on State Highway 23 when she failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle traveled across County Road 266 and off the right side of the roadway before impacting trees. 


The Yamaha came to rest facing south on the south side of County Road 266. 


Trooper Brandon A. Walker worked the accident for the Arkansas State Police and reported Decker was taken to Eureka Springs Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. 


According to Trooper Walker, the weather was clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the accident.
