Mikayla Dalton Ragsdale, 25, of Clarksville, defended her girls friend Alex Suarez on social media after he May 24 crash that resulted in the death of five-year-old Josiah Garcia.
Garcia was killed when Alex Suarez took Garcia and another child from a blood plasma donation center in a vehicle and ran head-on into another vehicle just a few blocks away.. Mikayla Ragsdale told police at the time that she was aware Suarez was "going to take the kids to the park to play" and there was speculation at the time that she might also face charges of endangering the welfare of a child.
Suarez, who was out on bail for other drug-related charges at the time of the accident, has been in the Pope County Detention Center since September 30 when she was arrested and charged in Garcia's death four months after the May 24 accident.
