Court records out of Oklahoma tell a disgusting tale of a mother/daughter Duo who are accused of paying for personal items and personal bills with credit cards of people they were employed to take care of in a jones, Oklahoma nursing home.
According to Media reports out of Oklahoma County, police with the Jones Police Department arrested 44-year-old Bobbi Thomas and 20-year-old Kelby Davis and charged them with nearly $13,000 in theft on credit cards belonging to residence of the Oak hills Care Center in Jones, which is located in Oklahoma County.
Reports say that police were first alerted to the possible thefts in October when a family member said that their father's wallet had been stolen. Upon checking the bank account that family found 43 unauthorized transaction totaling a little more than $3,200.
According to police, there are other victims as well, many of which suffered from dementia.
Police said the unauthorized purchases included car payments, utility payments, purchases from Amazon, and trips to local restaurants.
Both Thomas and Davis have been charged with felony exploitation by a caregiver. Police say the thefts occur between July and October of this year.
If convicted, the pair faces up to 10 years in prison and or a $10,000 fine.
