Mix of firearms and drugs enough to send Fort Smith man to state prison for 30-years-plus

A Fort Smith man already scheduled to serve time in the Arkansas Department of Corrections got a free trip to the Sebastian County Detention Center last week in order to attend a plea deal for multiple felony charges from April of this year according to information from Sebastian County Circuit Court.


Now, in addition to the time he was serving as a habitual offender for firearms violations out of Crawford County, Quinten A. Marrone drew a 35-year sentence with an additional 35-year suspended on Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Possession of Firearms By Certain Persons, and Possession of Methamphetamine with the Purpose to Deliver chares,


Marrone, who was transferred into SCADC on July 30 was released for transport to the Ouachita River Correct. Unit in Malvern on Friday. All of his sentences are set to tun concurrently.
