Law enforcement officials say one man is dead after a single vehicle crash in McCurtain County on Sunday.
According to information from the Oklahoma highway patrol, 64-year-old Charles Adkins of Millerton was killed in an accident on Oklahoma 98 in rural McXCurtain County.
According to information released by the state highway patrol, Atkins with northbound on Oklahoma 98 when he ran off the road, struck a fence, over-corrected then ran off the road again. He then struck a second fence and crashed into a residence.
Adkins was taken to McCurtain County Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
Oklahoma highway patrol says the crash is still under investigation.
