Mansfield man given two year county sentence on reduced charges for December, 2020 drug arrest
A thirty-nine year-old Mansfield man was sentenced to two years with an additional four years suspended last week ion a single drug paraphernalia charge according to information from the Sebastian County Circuit Court.
Joshua Gillenwater was initially charged with numerous violations from his December 29, 2020 arrest by the Mansfield Police Department including two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, two counts of Furnishing Prohibited Items. Possession of a Controlled Substance and Contempt. He was released on $4750 in bonds January 13
His Wednesday plea agreement whittled his charges down to the single drug paraphernalia conviction. Gillenwater, who may be eligible to serve out the remainder of his term at the Sebastian Cou7nty Detention center was also given jail credit for 15-days served.
The plea deal was reached in the Greenwood District of Sebastian County Circuit Court.
