Man with conviction for sexual child abuse arrested for failing to meet reporting requirements

A registered sex offender who has spent time in Washington, Garland, Pulaski and Sebastian counties remains behind bars on a $10,000 bond after an ar5rest Thursday by the Fort Smith Police Department for Failure tom Comply with Registration Requi9rements as a Sex Offender.

Robin Jay Hanley, 40, who has been arrested twice before on the same charge is a Level 2 offender who was originally arrested and convicted for Sexual Abuse of a Child. He was arrested in Garland County last July for failing to register and received a 60-month suspended imposition at the time.

There is no information on where Hanley was living in Fort Smith at the time of his arrest on Thursday.
