A 30-year-old Little Rock man who was already serving time out of Sebastian County on 2017 drug and theft convictions will continue his relationship with the ADC after being sentenced to fifteen additional years Friday morning on drug and firearm charges in the 12th Circuit Division Court in Fort Smith.

Roland Frank Guy, who was returned to Sebastian County on October 4 to stand trial on a 202 arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession 0of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drugs and Firearms Simultaneously and Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons, was arrested on June 11 on those charges as well as absconding charges.

That arrest triggered a parole violation that sent Guy back to the Ouachita River Correctional *Unit in Malvern to finish serving his sentence for his 2017 arrest and conviction.

No stranger to court and court proceedings, Guy was arrested three separate times on felony counts in 2014-15 before finally being sent to prison for four years in December of 2017 on Theft by Receiving charges. That prison stint came in the heels of two other arrests for Theft by Receiving and drug nd paraphernalia charges in July and August of 2017 before they could get him tried for the 2015 arrest.

Guy, who was sentenced under habitual offender guidelines, was also given fifteen years suspended to run concurrent with his existing and current sentences.
