According to the Arkansas State Police, a Berryville Man is dead after an accident involving three vehicles in rural Madison County on Saturday.
The ASP published a preliminary report on Sunday morning detailing the accident that occurred on US Highway 412 near State Highway 127 and just after 5:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
The narrative of that report says 63-year-old Timmy Cain of Berryville was driving a 1997 Ford westbound on US Highway 412 when his vehicle impacted the back end of a 2009 Freightliner.
That impact caused the Ford to cross over into the eastbound Lane where it impacted a 2019 GMC traveling east. The Cain vehicle sideswiped the GMC, proceeded to leave the roadway to the southwest, then impacted a culvert. The Ford came to rest in an upright position.
Cain was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to the Madison County funeral service.
State trooper Jacob Graham worked the accident for the agency and noted clear weather conditions and dry roadways at the time of the crash.
