Lincoln County man arrested on multiple child pornography charges

Agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s (OSBI) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested 57-year-old Daniel Ray Denwalt on multiple child pornography charges on Tuesday.

The case originated when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) forwarded a cyber tip they received from an electronic service provider to the OSBI.

The tip stated that Denwalt had uploaded more than one hundred images of suspected child pornography and shared them within a chat group.

The ICAC Unit opened an investigation, which resulted in Tuesday’s arrest at Denwalt’s residence off of East 840 Road in Wellston, Oklahoma. He was taken into custody without incident and is currently in the Lincoln County Jail.

Denwalt is facing multiple charges including Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography, Distribution of Child Pornography and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

If you suspect a child is being sexually exploited, contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children immediately at 1-800-THE-LOST or www.cybertipline.com.
