Leflore County couple arrested in mid-April after filming sexual abuse of their young child



An employee of the Howe school district and a 22-year-old man she is in a domestic relationship with were arrested by Leflore County authorities approximately two weeks ago and charged with various felony crimes involving the videotaped sexual abuse of their child. 


Howe paraprofessional educator Brooklyn Wilson, 27, and 22-year-old Armando Palma were booked into the Leflore County Detention Center on April 15 on the charges stemming from the sexual abuse of the couple's child. 


The video in question was apparently shared on s social media site in the days before the couple was arrested. A person reported that Palma had sent her videos of him sexually abusing his young daughter. 


A search warrant was issued on the couple's home in the 21000 block of West 1st Street in Howe in which a device with "multiple graphic videos" was discovered. Officials say that device was owned by Brooklyn Wilson. 


The victim in question appears to be a preschool aged female.


Palmer, who is 6' tall and weighs 200 pounds according to Leflore County booking information, is being charged with Aggravated Sexual Abuse and for receiving child pornography. The charges against Wilson include Aggravated Child Sexual abuse,Sexual Exploitation of a Child by a Parent,Distribution of Child Pornography and possession of Child Pornography.


The United States Attorney's Office in Muskogee is handling the prosecution of the case.

 

Howe Superintendent stock parks s released a letter on Tuesday concerning the situation and the employment status of Wilson with the district.
