A 34-year-old Omaha, Arkansas man was arrested Friday and booked into the Boone County Detention Center on a charge of rape/sexual intercourse/forceable compulsion and remained behind bars on a no bond hold as of Monday morning.
According to booking information from the Boone County jail, Shane Donovan Hernandez of Omaha was arrested at just before 2:00 p.m. on Friday on the sex crime related charge.
Hernandez cannot be located within the Arkansas Court Connection system of having been arrested for any other felony crimes in the state. Very few details on the crime and his arrest were available as of Monday morning.
However, he has been the subject of two orders of protections by two individuals with the same last name.
One of those orders of protections was requested back in June of 2022 by a female and a permanent OPC was granted in August of that year. On the same day he was arrested last week, Hernandez had a request for another order of protection filed against him, this time by a male individual with the same last name as the female victim.
None of the pending court hearing information has been posted on Arkansas Court Connect as of Monday morning.
