Homeless man arrested by Fayetteville Police on warrant for 2020 rape and assault




A homeless Oklahoma man was arrested earlier this week and charged with Rape, Aggravated Assault and Terroristic Threatening for an incident that occurred in April of 2020, according to booking information from the Washington County Detention Center and court records.


Jay Reyes-Mojica, 37, listed as being homeless from Broken Bow, Oklahoma., was arrested Monday by the Fayetteville Police Department on a warrant that was issued April 14, 2020 and served on Tuesday.


Reyes-Mojica is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on $250,000 bond after his Rule 8.1 hearing that was held today in Washington County Circuit Court. He is due back in court on March 10 to face his charges..
