High speed chase, running roadblocks doesn't end well for 33 year-old Oklahoma man

Christopher Cole Thomas, 33, was arrested in the early hours of this morning following a dramatic high-speed chase with local law enforcement in Ottawa County.


Booked at 1:22 a.m., Thomas faces a slew of charges, including eluding a police officer, running a roadblock, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, forgery, and multiple traffic violations.


Authorities report that Thomas, whose license was suspended or revoked, allegedly sped through a roadblock, exceeding the posted speed limit by 20-25 mph. At the end the pursuit, he was found in possession of a controlled substance, excluding small amounts of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids, along with drug paraphernalia.


Additionally, Thomas is charged with forgery, though specific details of this offense were not disclosed.


Thomas, remains in custody as the investigation continues.
