Heavener man killed when motorcycle collides wth pick-up truck early Friday morning near Cameron

Just after midnight on Friday, an accident near Cameron at the crossroads of Old Highway 112 and OK 112 took the life of a 21-year-old Leflore County resident.


Hunter Fortner, a 21-year-old resident of Heavener, suffered multiple exterior injuries, which led to his being pronounced dead at the scene.


Twenty-one-year-old-year Poteau resident Colton Williamson was operating a 2005 Chevy pickup, while Fortner was piloting a 2009 Kawasaki.


Investigations are still ongoing to determine what caused the fatal wreck.


 Williamson was unharmed., according to the OHP report.


Trooper Kyle Ward of the Troop D detachment in LeFlore County investigated the crash.


Trooper Josh Blake, the Hogeye Fire Department, the LeFlore County EMS, and the LeFlore County Sheriff's Department all assisted at the accident scene.
