Head on crash In Harrison Monday proves fatal to 30-year-old Boone County woman



Law enforcement officials in north central Arkansas say a 30-year-old Boone County man was killed and another man was injured in an accident that occurred Monday at 12:40 p.m. within the city limits of the city of Harrison. 


According to a report filed by the Harrison Police Department with the Arkansas State Police, a 2012 Dodge caravan driven by 30-year-old Leah Bieberich of Harrison was westbound on SH Highway 43 when she crossed the center line and struck a 2023 Ram ProMaster head on. 


Bieberich was pronounced dead at the scene by the Boone County Coroner's Ooffice and the driver of the Dodge, 50-year-old Christopher Roberts of Harrison, was transported to the North Arkansas Regional Medical facility in Harrison for treatment of unspecified injuries. 


The accident was work by Harrison patrolman Joshua B. Gross who noted the weather was cloudy but the roads were dry at the time of the head-on impact.
