The Arkansas State Police has released information on a motorcycle accident they say claimed the life of a Harrison man in Washington County on Friday.
According to the preliminary accident report filed by the ASP, 29-year-old Eric McFarland of Harrison was eastbound on us 412 in Sonora on a 2004 Suzuki 1400 Intruder when he ran into the driver rear side of a Dodge truck that was northbound on Blue Spring Road.
According to the report, the driver of the truck pulled out in front of Mcfarland who was pronounced dead at the scene by the Washington County Coroner's office.
The investigating State Trooper, Corporal Randall Schwab, noted clear weather conditions and a dry roadway at the time of the fatal accident which occurred at 6:23 p.m. Friday afternoon.
