Greenwood Assistant Principal among five dead after Friday morning crash on Highway 112



The wreck in Cameron that we first told you about just after 1:00 p.m. today took the lives of five people from Arkansas and blocked Highway 112 between Cameron and Poteau for nearly four hours, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
According to officials, Charles L. Drushal, 76, of Fort Smith was driving a 2005 Grand Cherokee northbound in a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee when he crossed the centerline and struck 2011 Chevrolet Traverse head-on about two miles south of Cameron.

Drushal, Jill M. Drushal, 53, and an unidentified 15-year-old girl were in the Jeep and were all killed. The Traverse was driven by an unidentified 15-year-old from Greenwood who was killed, along with his passenger Aaron M. Gamble.
The accident occurred at 11:17 am.
According to information obtained from the Greenwood School District website, Aaron Gamble was an Assistant Principal at Greenwood High School.
