Gore woman killed Wednesday afternoon in head-on collision on Oklahoma State Highway 100

A 33-year-old Gore woman died Wednesday as the result of a two-vehicle accident on OK-100 jut north of Gore, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol


According to the OHP preliminary report on the accident, Meghan Lane was driving a 2019 Honda Tucson northbound on the roadway when she fatally collided with another vehicle after drifting into the wrong lane.

Lane was traveling northbound on OK-100 when she strayed into the southbound lanes and collided with a 2019 Toyota Tacoma around 6:30 p.m.


Rescue crews pronounced Lane dead at the scene of the accident and transported the driver of the Tacoma to a Tulsa hospital in stable condition with internal injuries.


The incident was still under investigation by OHP as of Friday morning.
