The Morrilton Police Department, Arkansas State Police and the Conway County Sheriff’s Office took Stacy Lee Drake, 50, into custody at about 10 a.m. Thursday in a wooded area south of the Morrilton intersection of University Boulevard and Poor Farm Road.
Drake was taken into custody without incident after a manhunt that began late Tuesday. The Arkansas National Guard and the Arkansas Division of Community Correction assisted in the search.
Drake is wanted in connection with homicides and carjackings in Oklahoma and is wanted on other felony warrants from multiple jurisdictions, with charges including aggravated robbery, carjacking, and murder.
Police say Drake is the primary suspect in the Tuesday murder of two people at a Gans propane company. Officials found Taylor Sharp of Muldrow and Tara Underwood, hometown unknow, with fatal wounds after responding to a call at the business.
Drake was also being sought in the death o 56-year-old Phillip Emerson in El Reno on June 14.
He is being held at the Conway County Detention Center. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
