Gans murder suspect on no-bond hold in Sequoyah County jail after Arkansas arrest and extradition l




Multi-state murder suspect Stacy Lee Drake was returned to Sequoyah County on Friday and was booked into the Sequoyah County Detention Center on a number of felony charges. 


Drake, who was captured Thursday by a force of jurisdictional law enforcement agencies in a wooded area in Morrilton (Conway County) , is currently on a no- bond hold in the Sequotah County Detention Center after being extradited from Arkansas and is the primary suspect in the murder of two people at a Gans propane company on Tuesday. 


Police say Drake is responsible for the deaths of Taylor Sharp and Tara underwood, both Sequoyah County residents , who were found dead Tuesday afternoon by officers responding to a welfare check at the business. 


Drake is also a suspect in the murder of 56-year-old Philip Emerson of El Reno earlier in the week. Police say Drake broken into Emerson's home befoe killing him nd fleeing the scene.


According to booking information from the Sequoyah County Sheriff's office, Drake is being charged with two counts of Murder in the First Degree - Deliberate Intent, Murder in the First Degree - Felony Murder, Robbery with a Weapon, as well as holds for Texas County, Oklahoma, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, Sebastian county, Arkansas and the United States Marshal's office.
