Fourth felony arrest in less than four months triggers ten-year sentence after Circuit plea deal

A fifty-six year-old Fort Smith resident was transitioned this morning from being a Sebastian County Adult Detention Center inmate to becoming a guest of the Arkansas Department of Corrections for the next several rears after a plea deal in Sebastian C0ounty Circuit Court.


Charles Alexander Lee was sentenced to ten years in prison "Real time" with ten years suspended on Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after entering a guilty plea in an open court session. Lee, who compiled four separate felony drug arrests within the last four months consisting of ten separate charges, managed to have one set of charges not prosecuted as part of the plea deal.


He received credit for jail time served and had court cost and fees waivered, according to the disposition of the case,
