Fort Smith sex offender arrested in Sequoyah County for outstanding warrants
Convicted sex offender Steven Colley was arrested and booked into the Sequoyah County Jail on Friday, October 16, with outstanding warrants in Arkansas.
Colley was convicted of Rape and Drug Possession in Sebastian County in 2008. He was sentenced to 96 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
In addition, Colley must also comply with the requirements of the Sex and Violent Offender Registry.
He was also charged with being in possession of a stolen vehicle, according to boking information.
According to court records, Steven Colley was convicted of Drug Possession, Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Petit Larceny, two counts of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, and Sex Offender Living Within 2,000 Feet of a School, all in Sequoyah County from 1998-2019.
With holds for Arkansas Probation & Parole, Colley's next move will be a transfer across the border.
