Fort Smith Police Department issues warrant for June 24 shooting suspect in Tilles Park incident

On Tuesday, June 27, a warrant was issued for 23-year-old Jiy'wian Hughes by the Sebastian County Prosecutors Office for Battery in the First Degree - Firearm Class B Felony.

The warrant is in reference to a June 24 shooting incident that occurred at Tilles Park. One male victim was transported to a local hospital on that day with non-life-threatening injuries.

Hughes may be armed and dangerous so please do not engage him. He has also been the subject of a poster on Today in Fort Smith as he absconding and jumped bail pona local bail bond company.
