A 20-year-old Fort Smith man was released from custody Monday on a $2500 legally sufficient bond after spending the weekend in the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center on a charge of Sexual Indecency with a Child under the age of 15 according to information from the Sebastian County Circuit Court.
Although court records are sealed pursuant to the age of the victim, Lukas Allen Beam, with an address in 4800 block of Rogers Avenue, was arrested at 12:11 am Saturday and charged with one count of the sex crime, which constitutes a Class D felony in the state of Arkansas. He was released at 11:32 am on Monday.
The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on June 30 of this year according to o booking information.
