Fort Smith man arrested by ASP for fifth DWI offense released on bond less than two hours after being taken into custody

A Fort Smith man with four previous arrests for driving while intoxicated was arrested and booked into the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center on Friday after being arrested by the Arkansas State Police for Felony DWI.
Caleb Graves Jackson, 29, of Fort Smith was booked into the SCADC Friday afternoon at 1:35 p.m. after an arrest by the Arkansas State Police after following a traffic stop.
Graves, who lives on Trenton Drive in Fort Smith, was in and out of jail in less than two hours after he posted $4100 in legally sufficient bonds. His court date stemming from his latest arrest has been set for May 23 in Sebastian County Circuit Court.
Booking information from Sebastian County indicates this is the fifth arrest of Jackson in either Sebastian or Crawford County for driving while under the influence since 2015. In addition he was charged Friday with Driving on a Suspended or Revoked Driver's License and Driving with a Suspended or Revoked Vehicle License or Registration.
Grace was arrested in Crawford County on April 10, 2017 for charges that involved Failure to Maintain Control and Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Property Damage and paid fines but avoided jail time by going through the First Offender program.
According to Sebastian County Sheriff Office booking information on April 7 of this year Graves spent just over 24 hours in the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center after picking up his fourth DWI. Graves also shows an arrest on April 8 of this year for Speeding No Seatbelt, Improper Lane Change, Open Container in a Motor Vehicle, and Driving While on a Suspended License for DWI. He was bound over to Crawford County Circuit Court on that arrest.
Also, according to booking information, Graves got his fourth DWI on April 7 of this year when he was arrested by the Fort Smith Police Department. His other listed DWI arrest was on February 8, 2020 when he was taken into custody by the Fort Chaffee Police Department.
