Former US Army captain facing five child pornography related counts in Benton County
A former United State military officer and Bentonville man who holds a Juris Doctorate from UAMS finds himself in need of legal representation after an arrest this week on five counts of Distributing, Possessing or Viewing Explicit Child Material, according to booking information from the Benton County- Sheriff Office.
Johnathan David Dial, 44, who was a Captain in the US Army during the Global War on Terrorism and earned his law degree after after winning a Combat Infantry Badge and returning home after being wounded, was arrested on Tuesday by the Benton County Sheriff Office and charged with the five counts.
Dial's booking information said he was arrested on a warrant case pending and he had been released from jail on what seeming was a $75,000 cash/surety bond.
As of close of business on Friday, information on the arrest had not been entered into the statewide records system at Arkansas County Connect ands no details were available on the case.
