Former Carroll County deputy arrested for falsifying overtime sheets in March 2022

The Arkansas State Police has arrested a former deputy with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office on felony charges of Forgery, Theft of Property, and Tampering with a Public Record. 

 

In March of 2022, ASP’s Criminal Investigation Division was contacted by Carroll County Prosecutor Tony Rogers who requested an investigation take place concerning CCSO Deputy Blake Ringberg, 53.


According to online sourcces, Ringberg was arrested for falsifying overtime records totalling $11, 622 . The monies in question came out of a federally-funded STEP program, of which Ringberg was the county coordinator.


During the investigation, Deputy Ringberg resigned from CCSO and is no longer employed as a law enforcement officer in the State of Arkansas. 

 

On Thursday, December 14, 2023, ASP served an arrest warrant on Ringberg and took him into custody. He was transported to the Carroll County Detention Center.
