The U.S. government has escalated its pursuit of Yulan Andony Archaga Carías, alias “Alexander Mendoza” and “Porky,” the 43-year-old Honduran leader of MS-13, a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). Archaga Carías, the highest-ranking MS-13 member in Honduras, faces charges in the Southern District of New York for racketeering, narcotics trafficking, and firearms offenses, as outlined in a 2021 superseding indictment. He is a top fugitive on the FBI, DEA, and ICE HSI Most Wanted Lists, with the State Department offering up to $5 million for information leading to his arrest or conviction.
Attorney General Pamela Bondi declared, “This terrorist leader can no longer be allowed to live free as MS-13’s evil devastates communities in America and throughout the western hemisphere.”
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the FBI at archaga-carias_tips@fbi.gov (mailto:_tips@fbi.gov) or via WhatsApp at +1-832-267-1688, or the nearest U.S. Embassy, Consulate, or local FBI, DEA, or HSI office. Only tips submitted to U.S. authorities qualify for the reward.

FBI Director Kash Patel emphasized, “Dismantling and ultimately eliminating MS-13 continues to be one of the FBI’s highest priorities, and we’re not stopping until that mission is complete.” DEA Acting Administrator Derek Maltz added, “Archaga Carías is a foreign terrorist waging war on innocent Americans through murder, trafficking, and terror. We will dismantle MS-13 piece by piece.”
Archaga Carías allegedly oversees MS-13’s drug trafficking, orchestrating multi-ton cocaine shipments through Honduras to the U.S., coordinating murders, and laundering drug proceeds. He is accused of supplying firearms, including machineguns, and hiring out MS-13 members as hitmen for drug trafficking organizations. The indictment also charges co-defendants, including David Campbell (“Viejo Dan”), currently in U.S. custody, and three other MS-13 leaders, two of whom remain at large.
Acting U.S. Attorney Matthew Podolsky stated, “MS-13 remains one of the most dangerous criminal organizations in the world, and the recent FTO designation underscores this reality.” The case, handled by Joint Task Force Vulcan and the Southern District of New York’s National Security and International Narcotics Unit, is part of Operation Take Back America and the OCDETF program.
Archaga Carías faces a potential life sentence if convicted. The public is reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
