Fayetteville woman killed in one-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on Highway 71B



A one car accident Tuesday morning in Fayetteville claimed the life of a 41-year-old local resident, according to the Arkansas State Police.


The ASP preliminary reports says that Madsen Amberlyn of Fayetteville was traveling south on Highway 71 B/Fulbright Expressway when she failed to negoiate a right hand curve in the 2014 Lexus she was driving. The Lexus struck a bridge pillar before coming to rest on the right side of the roadway.


Amberlyn was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was transported to the Washington County Coroner's office.


Investigating trooper Jacob Graham noted the conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the 9:03 am accident
