Fatal accident on SH 10 in rural Yell County claims 57-year-old Havana resident

A 67-year-old man from Havana died in a crash on Highway 10 near Walnut Grove Road on April 8, 2025, at approximately 7:28 p.m., according to Arkansas State Police.
Timmy Robinson was driving a 1978 Corvette westbound when the vehicle veered off the left side of the roadway in Yell County.
The car struck a power pole, ejecting Robinson from the vehicle, before colliding with a metal fence. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The weather was clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident.
Robinson’s body was taken to Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle, and his next of kin have been notified.
Trooper Paul M. Matthews of the Arkansas State Police is investigating the incident.
The death is the 118th of the year on Arkansas roads and highways compared to 128 fatalities during the same time period one year ago.
