Exclusive: Suspect in Johnson County homicide on Monday in custody after five days on the run

A 41-year-old Clarksville man is behind bars in Johnson County after an arrest Friday that resulted in a charge of Homicide-Capital Murder.
Chris Allen Olinger of Clarksville is currently in the Johnson County Detention Center on a no-bond hold in the death of Deanna Patton Teague.
Today in Fort Smith had attempted all week long to get confirmation of the murder of Teague in Lamar on Monday, December 9 after being told about the homicide by a source. A call to the Arkansas State Police resulted in a generic response from the ASP saying the Lamar Police Department and Johnson Coun ty Sheriff Office was retaining the investigation in house.
Neither of those agencies returned our calls.
According to our source from earlier in the week, Teague was found in a residence in Lamar ion Monday afternoon. That same source named Olinger as the prime suspect in the case.
As far as we can ascertain, the public was never informed about the murder or the fact that Olinger was a suspect in the murder and remained at large.
This is a developing story and we will release more information if and when it becomes available.
