The Arkansas State Police say that a 41-year-old Fayetteville man was killed Saturday night in an accident just after 11:00 p.m. at I-49 Exit 61 in Fayetteville
According to that preliminary ASP report Randy Robinson was on a bicycle on I49 when a 2023 Nissan driving north on the roadway struck him as he attempted to cross the interstate lanes.
According to that report the Nissan struck the bicycle in the outside lane. Corporal Randall Schwab of the Arkansas State Police investigated the accident and noted clear weather conditions and a dry roadway at the time of the accident.
Robinson was declared dead on the scene by The Washington county's coroner's office.
