Details of horrific crash that occurred Wednesday in Bentonville released by ADPS


The Arkansas Department of Public Safety released a preliminary accident report by the Bentonville Police department on Friday detailing the death of three Fordyce residents in a horrific crash on North Walton Boulevard at the intersection of oakwood avenue on Wednesday. According to that report, Sammy Tucker of Fordyce was driving a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country northbound on the inside Lane of North Walton Boulevard. An unknown driver of a southbound 2015 Chevy Suburban veered into the northbound lane and struck the Tucker vehicle head-on.


The third vehicle involved in the accident, a 2005 northbound Ford Escape in the northbound lane of North Walton Boulevard , did not have time to stop and rear-ended the Suburban after the initial collision.

Tucker (64) died in the accident, and two other individuals, 61-year-old Lisa Tucker and 85-year-old Norma Castleberry both of Fordyce, died in the accident


There was one minor injured in all three of the cars involved in the crash.


Benton County investigating officer Corporal Marcus l Hutchison noted that the weather was clear and the road conditions were good at the time of the crash.

The death of the three individuals pushed the total of highway fatalities in Arkansas to 130 for the year.
