Police officials in Dardanelle say a 41-year old woman was arrested in connection with the reported theft of funds from the Dardanelle Pee Wee Cheer program earlier in the month.
Sources say that over $11,000 was unaccounted for in records of financial activities of the program, and that Jessica Aiko Tidwell, 41, was taken into custody on July 14 and charged in connection with money reportedly taken from the program the program during 2019.
Tidwell was the cheer coach for the program. She has been with Class C felony theft of property of more than $5,000 but less than $25,000.
She was released after posting a $10,000 bond which had been set in the case.
