CRIMEstoppers reward available for information on suspects in Dollar General hold-up attempt




The Fort Smith Police Department is actively investigating an attempted robbery that occurred Friday at the Dollar General store located at 1701 Grand Avenue.


Two subjects, at least one of whom ws armed, are believed to be responsible. A store clerk sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the attempt. As of now, no arrests have been made.


Since the incident occurred, we have obtained surveillance images and witness descriptions. 


Suspect No. 1 was described as a black male wearing a distinct red hoodie featuring a bunny with the words "SUPER." This male was described as possibly being in his early twenties.


Suspect No. 2 was described as a black male, also wearing a distinct black hoodie with a PlayStation Logo and possibly being in his early twenties.

To be reward-eligible for up to $1,000, tips must be submitted through Fort Smith Crime Stoppers at 78-CRIME.
