Law enforcement officials in Leflore County Oklahoma say a 21-year-old woman died Saturday morning in an accident about six miles west of Hodgens in rural Leflore County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol 21-year-old Haley Newman was driving a 2018 Chevrolet on Reichert- Summerfield road near Hiodgens Saturday morning. As of this writing the cause of the accident was still under investigation by the OHP
According to officials the roadway was wet from heavy rains in the area and Newman, of Leflore, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. She was ejected from the car.
According to information from that report Newman was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to a local funeral home.
